How to blow dry your hair
In the early morning and late at night, there is always a lot of work that needs to be done in a hurry. Of course, every hairdresser will tell you that blow-drying your hair all the time will damage it. But now you have to go to work soon, do you want to leave your hair wet? Or you're going to a party soon, how can you keep your hair from getting wet? It may be healthier and more natural to dry your hair naturally, but if you are careful to blow dry your hair the right way, it will not only dry your hair, but it will also be good for your hair instead of damaging it. If you don't want to let wet hair get your clothes wet again, or just use a towel to dry it, check out the tips on how to blow dry your hair.
Steps
1
Wash your hair. You can use your original shampoo, but for better blow dry results and protection, use some moisturizing shampoo (often called a dry hair formula). This shampoo will leave your hair more moist and therefore protect it from damage caused by the blow dryer. It will also protect you from damage from straightening or perming and add moisture to your hair. You don't need to go for a very expensive brand - there are moisturizing shampoos at all prices, so just find what you think is best for you.
2
Gently rub your hair with a towel to stop it from dripping. Don't rub your hair with a towel or you will cause extra damage by splitting and frizzing at the ends. Gently wrap the towel around your hair and squeeze the moisture out. If your hair is too short to do this, wrap a towel around your head and rub your hair very, very gently in a circular motion. Don't rub too fast or too hard, if you feel pain or damage to your hair, stop quickly. In this step, your hair does not need to be very dry, as long as it is not dripping everywhere.
3
Divide your hair into sections. The more hair you have in each section, the more time it will take to blow dry. It's best to divide into groups of 4-6, making sure there are no tangled hairs. If your hair is thick or long, try to get a trim. If your hair is too short, you can just split it into two sections.
4
Start blowing your hair from the top or root, about six inches away from your scalp. Keep this distance at all times so you don't burn. Do not blow your hair from the bottom up, as this can cause damage. Blowing from the scalp will prevent moisture from re-wetting your hair.
5
Continue blowing your hair in this way, remembering to keep turning the hair dryer so that no damage is caused. If you keep blowing on one spot for a long time, it will cause dryness and burn, and it's better to dry naturally. #Let your hair get a little damp. Don't stop until your whole head is very dry-you need to retain a little humidity so your hair doesn't dry out, split or get damaged. Have a little humidity, but not wet your clothes, at which point the hair can dry naturally in 5-10 minutes.
6
Finally, let the cold air finish the job. Gently brush your hair or use your fingers to detangle. If needed, you can use a moisturizing or anti-frizz slurry to detangle. You can also use a little olive oil. This will leave your hair shiny and smooth, and it will stay clean all day.
Never blow-dry your hair while it is still dripping or you are cooking your hair. Towel dry first.
Blow-dry your hair from the top down, keeping it in one direction.
Don't let the blow dryer get too close to your scalp.
Keep brushes and combs clean.
Use a cold agent to make your hair softer.
Do not comb wet hair, you can use your fingers to detangle.
Use heat protection before blow drying your hair.
If you can, don't blow dry your hair more than three times a week. If you can let your hair dry naturally, do so. If it's on a weekend and you have enough time, or if you don't plan to go out, simply comb your hair and let it dry naturally.
Use a round comb with a metal core. The heated metal in the middle helps dry and shape your hair better, and helps you handle it better.
If your hair is very short, simply towel off or blow dry for two minutes.
After blow drying your hair, you should use some hair moisturizing spray, anti-frizz cream. A healthier approach is to use a little olive oil to provide a healthier, natural moisture.
Leave your hair empty for five minutes, then start towel rubbing it and then blow-drying it.
Don't scrub your hair hard. You may be running late, but you don't want your hair to turn into a haystack.
Trim your hair every 6-8 weeks to prevent split ends.
Hang the blow dryer upside down after blow drying.
Warning.
Avoid being near the tub - it can be deadly.
If your scalp starts to burn, stop immediately!
If you use a hair dryer for years, it may cause headaches. Don't leave it on for more than an hour and a half at a time.
Don't use fine rubber bands to tie your hair, no matter what type, because they can damage it. Use a thick band.
Do not blow dry when hair is still dripping.
Do not use a comb. Use a "soft bristle brush".
Use a hair dryer for hair only. Do not use it to blow dry other parts of the body. Otherwise you may grow red spots or even burns.
Do not blow dry freshly colored hair, it is already dry enough.
